FAQ, CEDRUS, Question 5
I have a plate with different thicknesses, top surface levels and downstanding beams. Is there a way to check this graphically?
There are two options to make the thicknesses visible:
- As soon as the mesh is generated you can
select 3D view and
switch on rendering.
- Create a result section in the tabsheet 'Results' (e.g. in X direction over the entyre plate). Check 'Include thickness' in the tabsheet 'Options' of the section dialog. There is also a 'factor' for definig a superelevation.
Select this section and move it over the plate ('move' function from context menu). The shown thicknesses continuously adapt to the actual position of the section.
