For steel bar analyses additional member properties like
type of support, buckling length and distance between lateral supports
are needed. They are specified in a special tabsheet of the member dialog.
Section Forces
- The load cases needed for the analysis can be defined via
the standard envelope specifications on the base of which all
possible loading combinations are generated. Their results
and possibly also results from response specturum analyses
are transferred to AVENA.
Verification
- The resulting exploitation rates are shown graphically and, in
combination with section forces and effective loading combinations also
in tabular form. Members with an exploitation rate of less or equal 1.0 meet
all requested proofs.
- Each result can be verified in detail by a direct call to AVENA, which is
suppied with all needed structural and loading data.
Design
- The best profile
that meets all the required proofs is determined for all members. It is
chosen out of the series of profiles defind by the cross section of a member.
