Modeling and loading

• Membrane (3 degrees of freedom at each node for capturing the membrane stress condition)
• Material models: Isotropic (plane stress state, plane strain state) and orthotropic
• Point and line supports with elastic behavior along the support direction and perpendicular to the support direction
• Area, line and point loads like in the slab module, initial strains, prescribed support deformations

Results

• Result outputs for loading, combination of loadings and envelopes like in the slab module
• Result values: Deformations, membrane stresses, princaple stresses, axial forces, euqivalent stresses (v. Mises stress, Tresca stress), reinforcement forces, reinforcement cross sections, reactions

Slabs with axial forces

• With the option S it is possible to analyze slabs with axial forces which is very useful for the analysis of prestressed slabs.
